HAMBURG PORT AUTHORITY COMMIT OPERATE COOPERATION TO THE SMARTPORT
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the sister city agreement between Hamburg and Marseille, the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille and the Hamburg Port Authority agreed to further their cooperation on the Smart Port, thus including the environmental and digital transition of port activities and the modal shift to rail. This cooperation was announced during the visit of the First Mayor of Hamburg to the Port of Marseille on July 13, 2018 and formalized in Hamburg on September 27, 2018 in the presence of the mayors of both cities.
