Green Mobile Energy for reefer

Why this challenge?

Description:

Reefer containers must constantly be supplied in energy to avoid any break in temperature that would damage transported goods.

At quay, reefers are connected to a limited number of electric plugs depending on the port infrastructure.

It implies to position containers at a precise location on the terminal, which is not always the best location to optimize their repositioning.

 

 

Benefits

Have a mobile device that supplies Reefers in renewable energy (solar, wind, etc…) would allow to increase the number of containers on the terminal (import and export), optimize the logistic flows regardless of plug location and respect the environment.

Test a mobile device allowing to supply a reefer continuously with renewable energy.

Profile for the expected startup

We would like to work with start up which has already developed similar projects of mobile energy supply in other areas of industry and which is capable of adapting the solution to the shipping industry and our industry of reefer containers.
